Our Thinking: hand drawn perspectives for landscape projects, ecology and interpretation

Hand drawn is all about humans: ideas by people, for people, and places. Leading user groups through change keeps its meaning simple with hand drawn, and the message is presented in a inclusive and inviting way. Proposal pictures have become simply photoshop photographs of somwhere else, that might as well be another place entirely, shaped by computers.

Hand drawn takes the best of what's there now and engages users and project partners in a friendly and charming manner. Taking the computers out of change removes unnecessary hocus pocus and puts design back in the hands of user groups.

Public and partner meeting don't take place inside a monitor do they. In fact computers can actively mystify and obstruct a simple process. But they can happen around a 3D image that might be one step up from a child's fridge drawing, of ideas that are shared and understood. You don't have the be a graphics geek to scribble with marker pens. Potential funders might answer yes more readily to a drawing that they actually understand. Guiding public expectation management gets a lot easier with easy to read drawings.

A must for any contentious, pollitically or ecologiclally sensitive, ambitious, or imaginative project.
